Here you can download GIS data and documentation produced for the Iowa Agricultural Futures project.

Raster data for scenarios.  There are four zip files for Iowa project scenario data. There are two for Buck Creek and two for Walnut Creek. For each watershed there is a standard version of raster data and a water quality version of raster data. The primary difference between the standard versions and the water quality versions is that in the standard versions the streams pass under the roads, and vice versa for the water quality versions. The standard versions include the historic scenarios based on the 19th century public land survey data, but the water quality versions do not. The four files for downloading are:

Vector data for soils maps.  This zip file has the USDA NRCS SSURGO digital soils map for Buck Creek and Walnut Creek.
